These terms keep things straight between you and the Kickstands Up team so everyone can focus on the ride. Read them before you subscribe to a paid Kickstands Up plan.
Agreeing to these terms
By downloading, opening, or using Kickstands Up, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. We may update these terms as the app evolves; continuing to ride with us after an update means you accept the changes.
Your account and crew
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Road Crew connections to people you actually know and trust. Don't share access to your account in a way that puts other riders' data at risk.
Subscriptions and billing
Kickstands Up offers two paid plans — Cruiser and Road Dog — each available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time 6-month Season Pass. Purchases and renewals are processed by your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), not by us. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from your app store account settings; the Season Pass is a one-time purchase that simply ends after its 6 months and never auto-renews. Cancelling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current billing period. Any refund requests are handled by the app store under its own policies.
Acceptable use
Use Kickstands Up for planning and enjoying your own rides. Don't misuse the app — that means no attempting to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our services, no uploading unlawful or harmful content, and no using the app to harass other riders or share someone's location without their consent.
Ride safely and use your judgment
Routes, waypoints, weather, and timing in Kickstands Up are provided to help you plan — they are not a substitute for your own judgment on the road. Always obey traffic laws, ride within your limits, and never interact with the app while operating your motorcycle. Road and weather conditions change; confirm them yourself before and during every ride.
Disclaimers and liability
Kickstands Up is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that routes, third-party map, weather, or sunset data, or live tracking will always be accurate, available, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kickstands Up and its team are not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its information.
